The wait for GCSE results is over as students across the country returned to school one final time to collect their grades, spirits are high for final year students at Oasis Academy Media City UK as they look forward to taking their next steps today after securing some great results.

Students were invited to the academy today to celebrate their successes and received advice and guidance both from our staff and careers advisors. They are all proud of their achievements and are very excited about their next steps. We want to wish all of our students every success in the future.

A number of students have achieved superb individual results.

Ibrahim has secured 9s in eight of her nine subjects and Candice achieved eight grade nines also. Amelia gained a 9 in both Maths and English alongside a plethora of other strong grades.

Both Jonathan and Nurh achieved 9s in all three Sciences, again, this was alongside a great set of outcomes in all their other subjects.

Paul McEvoy, Principal at Oasis MediaCityUK, commented on students’ success saying; “We are thrilled for our young people who have worked so hard for these results. At Oasis Academy Media City we are passionate about giving our students the opportunities that they need to make great progress and flourish, and this year more of our students than ever are leaving us with the qualifications they need to take the next step towards a fulfilling career.”
